TAFLA was created to serve as a training academy for our future leaders. The. Academy sets out to prepare and train the next generation of Gambian leaders on diverse issues based on their areas of Interest. TAFLA seeks to harness the characteristics essential for creating mission-based life of impact and purpose for our future leaders.

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICATION

  • Must be a Student of any tertiary institution in The Gambia
  • Aged 18 – 35 Years
  • Be committed to attend all sessions (monthly)

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION 3OTH JUNE 2021

This initiative also brings forward individuals that have excelled in their various fields to share the challenges they faced through their lives.

With the goal of graduating 1000 fellows within the 3 years, The TAF Leadership has grown from 50 fellows in the first cohort to152 in the second cohort.

What?

For any nation to move forward, it needs good leadership. We wish to reignite the motivation in the individuals and draw attention to their strengths.

Why?

Failing to empower ourselves with leadership is the greatest injustice, especially with our Gambian youth. We want to see a forward-thinking nation with vision and ambition.

How?

Empowerment through a youth-adult partnership is imperative for development today, by facilitating the platform, sharing our experiences and putting them on the spotlight.

What?

We strive to bring everyone together, on a common platform, to discuss pivotal issues ways forward with industry leaders, young startups, development partners and other relevant stakeholders.

What?

Gambians have brilliant ideas, however, some of those ideas sometimes die from lack of starter capital which, if provided, could take Gambian startups to much greater heights.

Why?

This initiative, we believe, is a part of our responsibility. We empower the brilliant young Gambian minds while fulfilling the company's Corporate Social Responsibility.

How?

We award funds yearly to talented and the hardworking young Gambians for their diligence by assessing their products, workflows and business models.
